Oklahoma Energy Resources Board

The Oklahoma Energy Resources Board  is a quasi state agency that conducts environmental restoration of orphaned and abandoned well sites, encourages the wise and efficient use of energy and promotes energy education.  The OERB is funded voluntarily by Oklahoma’s oil and natural gas producers and royalty owners.

Consistent with its mission to educate the public about Oklahoma’s oil and gas industry, OERB has published educational resources regarding seismicity. They are continuously working with the industry to continue to gather more information on this issue. Visit their website’s page on seismicity to learn more.
