Oklahoma Department of Transportation

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation mission is to provide a safe, economical and effective transportation network for the people, commerce and communities of Oklahoma.

With responsibilities ranging from infrastructure to public safety, ODOT has instituted bridge and infrastructure inspection procedures in response to seismic events.  ODOT has worked extensively with the California Department of Transportation to share best practices and methods for ensuring the integrity of public infrastructure before and after earthquakes occur.
